How to Make Cranberry Margaritas

Margaritas are a year-round thing here in Texas, and that includes the fall!

Last year at Halloweenie Roast, I served up a trio of fall margaritas: apple cider, cranberry and yes...pumpkin spice.

The third one still needs some perfecting, but the first two are delicious and ready to share!

Today I'm showing you how I make my cranberry margarita (plus sharing my favorite cranberry juice to use for the recipe!).

The perfect blend of summer and fall in a glass.

Ingredients

  • 5 oz cranberry juice
  • 1 1/2 oz silver tequila
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • 1 oz lime juice

Instructions

  1. Mix in a cocktail shaker.
  2. Pour over ice.
  3. Garnish with a lime slide and fresh cranberries.

I especially like using the 100% cranberry juice from Trader Joe's because it's so tart. (I like tart drinks, esp. tart margaritas.)

I also like freezing fresh cranberries to add to my drink to keep it cool.
