Have you gotten your hands on a box of Monster Mash cereal yet? It has been a hot item this year!
And just in case you don't know what I'm talking about, let me share: 2021 makes the 50th anniversary of the creation of the Monster Cereals, Count Chocula, Franken Berry, and Boo Berry. Over the years, two more cereals entered and exited the lineup too: Yummy Mummy and Frute Brute.
This year to celebrate the milestone anniversary, General Mills put all five cereals together in one box and dubbed it the Monster Mash. I've been trying to find it in stores since late July, and — despite living in one of the largest cities in the country — have failed.
Luckily my friend James saved the day by mailing me a box.
While I didn't grow up eating the Monster Cereals, I love how excited the Halloween community gets when this favorite returns year after year, and I'm enjoying making them a part of my Halloween season now.
If you guys love the Monster Cereals too, I'm betting you'll find a few treats to enjoy in this blog post!
