If you love this year's Halloween playlist, you can tell Andrew from Your Best Halloween Ever thank you.
He is the music lover behind their blog's playlists, and late this summer I got stuck on one in particular that he let me preview: Monsters. It was FULL of songs I would define as my sound for Halloween: a little kitschy when it comes to the lyrics and serious 60s pop/rock vibes when it comes to the melodies. I listened to it so much that I even got a little burnt out...so I decided to use the radio function on Spotify to listen to similar songs.
And that's how this playlist began. I loved song after song that played, so I started dropping them into a collection and 100+ songs later...I decided I'd created the perfect Halloween playlist for 2020.
Because this year, of all years, who doesn't want the comfort of their favorite songs to carry them through their favorite holiday?
I hope you enjoy this one while you're decorating your home, baking some Halloween treats or having Halloween game night with your family!
