I did a thing this Halloween season: I published my own magazine. I know, it’s something I’ve done for a while with my digital and then mini magazines.
But this year for Halloween season, I decided I wanted to take the leap and go full-size with my magazine.
And I did it!
I'll give you a little peek inside, a full list of the content, and a link to where you can buy a copy while supplies last.
But first, I want to give a very heartfelt THANK YOU to two Halloween friends who convinced me I could do this: Andrew and Devin over at Your Best Halloween Ever.
Back in late July, I had a little crisis of faith about whether I could successfully pull off making a magazine. This almost didn't happen. But thanks to a little tough love, ghost hugs, and constant support through the creation process, the magazine came together. And honestly, I'm really proud of it.
As you'll learn when you read the magazine, my professional career began in journalism. These days, I'm working in the digital marketing department of a national nonprofit as a content manager. Creating content is clearly my passion since I do it all day...and then spend my evenings doing the Halloween version.
I've always LOVED the creation process with print publications, in particular, so the fact that I can say I published my own magazine is a little surreal.
But enough of that. What you really want is the inside scoop.
