Spooky Surfin’ Radio

This playlist originally appeared on Pateron.

Everybody's gone surfin'. Spooky surfin', that is!

Here’s a fun fact about me you may not know: my first favorite band was The Beach Boys. Those brotherly (and cousinly) harmonies sucked me in at age 7 and never let me go.

To this day, their music — along with 60s pop/rock, in general — is my favorite in the summertime.

So you can imagine my delight back in the summer of 2017 when I created this playlist after discovering…there’s quite a bit of spooky surf music out there!

Some of what landed on this particular playlist was inspired by that. Others are kitschy tunes that feel like they belong in the 60s.

I hope you enjoy this all Summerween long!
